Fitoquímicos: Potencial uso en el tratamiento del cáncer

Resumen

Los compuestos fitoquímicos, presentes en frutas, vegetales y otros, tienen propiedades anticancerígenas al inhibir el crecimiento tumoral y fortalecer el sistema inmune. Aunque tratamientos como quimioterapia pueden fallar, los fitoquímicos ofrecen alternativas terapéuticas prometedoras. Aún se necesita más investigación para entender sus mecanismos de acción y potenciales efectos secundarios.
