HUMANIDADES Y HUMANISMO
Keywords:
Hermeneutics, Analogy, HumanismAbstract
In these pages I propose to show how an analogical hermeneutics can be applied to the work carried out in the humanities and social sciences. To do this, I will begin by outlining, broadly, what this conceptual instrument is. This will show its fruitfulness for the humanities, since in them the main thing we do is interpret texts. Then I will go on to point out the importance of the humanities for the university, since these gave it its origin in history, although knowledge has diversified greatly today. Because the humanities suppose a notion of humanism, I will then go on to make a defense of it, tending towards a new humanism. Likewise, given that the humanities are part of culture, I will try to show how a cultural interpretation is proposed. Then I will draw some conclusions from that journey.
