LA ELEVACIÓN DE LA SENSIBILIDAD
LA CLAVE MATERIALISTA DE LA TEORÍA DEL CONOCIMIENTO FEUERBACHIANA
Abstract
This paper deals Feuerbach’s materialist theory of knowledge. It starts by making broad distinctions between properly Feuerbachian materialism and other materialisms of that age sustained mainly by French eighteenth-century mechanistics and thinkers of the nineteenth-century Hegelian left. Subsequently, it analyzes with more details fundamental elements of the theory of knowledge properly Feuerbachian such as it is formulated in his mature work. In addition to a characterization of the theory of knowledge underlying the Feuerbach’s materialism, it mentions some of its anthropological and ontological implications, and besides it explains why in general that plays a basic role in the Feuerbach’s critical thought as a whole.
