Abstract

This century has propelled an unprecedented educational transformation in higher education, demanding innovative approaches where technology and the central role of the teacher in creating new paradigms stand out. According to Ramírez, McGreal, and Obiageli (2022), this transformation is enhanced by digitization as a core axis and involves a comprehensive review of academic processes and institutional mindset. This transformation requires educators and students to assume protagonistic roles, to flexibilize the learning experience, and to address the challenges of managing digital skills (De Pablos, 2018). Digital education, as outlined by the Institute for the Future of Education (IFE, 2024), goes beyond content digitalization, promoting inclusion and educational effectiveness. This research has a descriptive scope, limited to the population of Anáhuac Puebla University, with a mixed approach to address the question: What are the areas that should be digitally transformed to enhance educational quality? The results indicate that there are priority topics for transformation in both the university and the students.
