Abstract
From its constitution as a bio-psychosocial being to its involvement in the face of a disease or in the context of a pandemic, such as the one we have experienced for more than a year due to the SARS-CoV-2 virus, it is necessary not to lose sight of the fact that our actions must protect and safeguard its essence and the dimensions that emanate from Human Dignity.
In this issue, the approaches taken in the field of health towards the dignity of sick people and how bioethics committees play a fundamental role in them are approached from different angles.
