OUR NATION IN THE HISTORY OF THE VALLEY OR BASIN OF MEXICO
Main Article Content
Abstract
The “father” culture of Mexico, direct and unifying, was the Spanish culture of postnacentist modern history, developed and extended by individuals of a very singular and flaming nature until today unfinished, which was the result of the intersection of legitimate medieval motivations with a thought Cartesian. The
“mother” culture is the plural and rich conglomerate of original ethnic groups that for thousands of years had settled in what is now the great American continent and in the part of North America that corresponds to us Mexicans. Certainly original cultures, which currently live in ourselves and whose degree of development
and organization, not exempt from reciprocal relationships and influences, did not fail to produce profound astonishment in the eyes and minds of those who observed them for the first time and still today they continue to rediscover them, be they their own or strangers.
