History of the journal

The journal of the Universidad Anáhuac México Iuris Tantum Law School appeared for the first time in 1982.

Currently, a new era is inaugurated, the fifth of the magazine, in which great news is presented.

In the first place, the disciplinary spectrum of the works to be published is broadened, including the different areas of interest of the programs taught at the Law School of the Universidad Anáhuac México (Law, Public Administration, Political Science and Intelligence Strategic).

Secondly, the publication policy is aligned with the requirements that the main national and international indexes indicate, with the objective that Iuris Tantum is integrated into them. Close collaboration has been initiated with prestigious international reviewers, in order to subject all articles to a strict double-blind evaluation; and the different policies that govern the publication of quality scientific journals have been followed.

A third change is that the electronic publication of the magazine in the Open Journal System is inaugurated in this new era, adding this modality to the one traditionally printed on paper.

Fourth, the periodicity is increased, which becomes semi-annual in nature, and is organized in a format in which there are three sections: a Monographic, with a specific theme; another Varia, in which different types of articles are accepted, and another of Reviews, in which papers that discuss recent and relevant literature will be presented.

Finally, as a fifth novelty, a new institutional structure has been promoted. Important academics from Mexico, Spain, Brazil, Colombia, Peru, Ecuador, Italy and Germany, from the different disciplines indicated, have been committed to forming the Editorial Board; The Academic Committee has been renewed, with professors from different faculties of the University and a Technical Committee has been created that is in charge of the daily operation of Iuris Tantum.

Currently, as of May 25, 2023, Iuris Tantum began its Sixth epoch.
