Strategic intelligence applied to change
Main Article Content
Abstract
This essay deals with how the function of intelligence can be applied to the processes of change that organizations, and in particular companies, need to address in their adaptation to the complex and uncertain environments that characterize these third decade of the 21st century. To this end, the author makes some brief considerations on change and how it influences organizational culture itself, and then explains how intelligence is applied in three main fields: in the field of security, to detect, identify, analyze and assess the main risks and threats that can be faced; in the competitive sphere, explaining how to analyze both the immediate environment (collaborators, competitors, associates, clients, etc.) and the general environment (political, economic, social, environmental, etc.). Because of the broad context in which intelligence is applied, it must be considered from an integral approach, which leads to the third consideration of the author, which is the need for consultancy firms in this field to promote strategic alliances within the framework of the concept of Collaborative Intelligence.
